In honor of Britney Spears' 30th birthday (IT'S TODAY, DUH!!!!!!), MTV pitted 30 of Brit's music videos against each other -- you know, one video for each year of her amazing life! Fans had the chance to choose between visual masterpieces such as "Till The World Ends," "Radar," "My Prerogative," "You Drive Me (Crazy)," "Lucky," "Everytime," "Toxic" and tons more. In the end, it came down to the Jason Trawick-assisted "Criminal" and Britney's drought-inspired "I'm A Slave 4 U." But only one video could reign supreme... And that video is "I'm A Slave 4 U"!
It was a super-heated battle, to say the least -- almost a million votes were cast and in many of the categories, the margin was thisclose. (In one round, for example, the numbers were 49.03 percent to 50.07 percent!) Stuff gets really heated when you're debating Britney, guys.
We're not at all surprised "I'm A Slave 4 U" took home top honors. While we love every Britney video (including the one we made for her), "Slave" consists mainly of Britney and her perfectly salt-watered hair having a sweaty orgy with hot dudes while caressing a giant yellow snake. Also, HER ABS. How could it not have won?
Happy 30th birthday, Britney! We hope you take a break today to sit back, relax and watch yourself look smokin' hot. Over and over again.
